Rolling-paper size names are useful starting points, but they are not universal measurements. Two packs called King Size can have different dimensions, and “Slim” does not always mean the same width across brands. Check the exact product’s length, width, paper count and whether tips are included.
King Size vs King Size Slim: what is the difference?
The difference depends on the brand and range. Rizla Green and Red King Size papers measure 98 × 44 mm, while Rizla Blue and Silver King Size Slim papers measure 108 × 44 mm. In that comparison, the Slim paper is longer, with the same width. OCB Premium uses a different distinction: its King Size is 98 × 53 mm and its Slim is 109 × 44 mm.
Choose by the measurements on the product page, rather than assuming every King Size paper is wider or every Slim paper is the same length.

Papers only or papers with tips?
A paper-only booklet and a combined papers-and-tips pack are different products. Look for “+ Tips”, “Combi” or “Connoisseur”, then check the stated contents. For example, OCB Organic Hemp Slim + Tips contains 32 papers and 32 tips, whereas the paper-only Slim version contains 32 papers. A display carton in a photograph does not mean the price includes the whole carton: read the selling quantity.
How do rolling-paper rolls compare?
A continuous roll lets you cut the length you need; the width remains fixed. RIPS Red Regular is 37 mm wide with 7 metres of paper, Green Slim is 44 mm wide with 5 metres, and Blue King Size is 53 mm wide with 5 metres. RIPS flavoured Slim rolls are 44 mm wide and 4 metres long. Roll length is the total paper supplied, not the length of one sheet.
What to check before ordering
- Match the brand and exact range to your preferred product.
- Compare length and width in millimetres.
- Check paper material and thickness separately from size.
- Check leaf count, included tips and the number of booklets or rolls supplied.
- For a rolling machine, confirm the machine’s stated paper compatibility.
